Archimedes ‘ screw is a type of pump used to raise water. It has the shape of a screw, which is thoroughly compressed into the cylinder.
At the top is a lever that serves to turn the screw, and it carries water to the top, where the lever is turned from the lower part inside the water.
The arm can be rotated by machine, hand or wind rose. The screw is often used to draw water from the water well.
Archimedes wrote about it when he was in Alexandria. It is not certain that the invention belonged to Archimedes, but it is always attributed to him.
There is also the inverted type of Archimedes ‘ screw. Water is poured down the screw and turns the handle as it is poured.
The instrument is connected to the electric generator, and the electric generator generates electricity using rotational kinetic energy. This tool is useful for small diameter rivers.
