A lot of people think that the reason why famous singer David Bowie’s eyes are remarkable is because his eyes are different colors. But the reason his eyes are so remarkable is because of “Anisocori”.
What Is Anisocoria?
Anisocoria is a clinical disorder characterized by pupillae, that is, pupils of different sizes.
Anisocoria can be caused by several things. This condition can occur at birth or later. Research shows that about 20% of the general population has mild benign anisocoria. It is usually completely harmless, but can be a sign of more serious medical problems. It can occur with disorders in the empathic neural pathways or as an effect of certain psychotic drugs as well.
I mean, the colors of David Bowie’s eyes were no different. Both eyes were blue, but because the left pupil was much larger than the right one, it made his left eye look much darker than his right one.
